Why rent a private boat in Istanbul?
Istanbul is the only city in the world that sits on two continents, and the Bosphorus is the strait that divides them. The best way to see it is from the water: Ottoman palaces, wooden waterfront mansions (yalı), fortresses and the bridges line both shores, and from a boat you see Europe on one side and Asia on the other.
Public ferries and shared sightseeing tours are crowded and follow a fixed timetable. A private boat rental means your group sets the pace — stop for photos, swim in summer, have dinner on deck at sunset or celebrate a birthday or a proposal without anyone else on board.

Hourly rates on our Istanbul fleet range from ₺4,500 to ₺12,000. What changes the price is the boat itself: its length, how many guests it takes and its comfort level. The rate covers the boat for your group only.

What you see on a Bosphorus boat trip
Boats leave from Ortaköy, under the Bosphorus Bridge. From there the strait opens up in both directions: south towards Dolmabahçe Palace and the old city skyline, north towards Bebek, Rumeli Fortress and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. On the Asian shore you pass Beylerbeyi Palace and Kuleli. Your captain plans the route around the time you book and what your group wants to see.
Sunset is the most popular slot: the light falls on the European shore and the bridges are lit up as it gets dark. Daytime trips are better for photos and, in summer, for a swim stop.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a private boat rental in Istanbul cost?
Private boats on the Bosphorus start from ₺4,500 per hour and go up to ₺12,000 per hour depending on the size of the boat. The price is for the whole boat, not per person, so a group shares one rate.
What is the minimum rental time?
The minimum booking is 2 hours. Most guests book 2–3 hours for a Bosphorus cruise; longer charters are quoted on WhatsApp.
How many people can a boat take?
Our Istanbul fleet takes groups from 6 up to 36 guests. Tell us your group size and we match you with the right boat.
Where do the boats depart from?
Departures are from Ortaköy, in Beşiktaş on the European side of the Bosphorus, right next to the Ortaköy Mosque and the Bosphorus Bridge.
How do I book?
Send us a message on WhatsApp (+90 551 128 0524) with your date, time and group size. We reply with available boats and a final price. We are reachable 24/7.
Is boat hire in Turkey available outside Istanbul?
Yes. Besides the Istanbul Bosphorus we also arrange boat and yacht hire in Bodrum on the Aegean coast.
